Found in the wall!
A discovery found in the Yana home, during a 1995 remodeling project.

The Yana's home, was built circa 1910 by the Church brothers who owned a mercantile on Main St. in Oshkosh. They used the home as a summer get-away / hunting lodge and it was often referred to as “Locust Lodge” because of the many locust trees surrounding it.
The removal of insulation exposed this picture, which had been hanging between wall studs on the second floor. It dates back to about 1900. No one is sure why it was hanging there!
